Collection: Trade Show Flooring

Trade Show Flooring and Booth Carpet

Booth flooring is the most overlooked square footage at a show. The right floor defines your space from the aisle, absorbs hall noise, and hides the concrete. Most venues require flooring that meets fire code, and most exhibitors underestimate how much carpet improves how long visitors stay.

Types of Trade Show Flooring

Booth carpet

The standard. Broadloom carpet is cut to your booth dimensions, rolled out on site, and finished with tape or edging. The Iconic XL carpet in this collection is engineered for repeat show cycles and hall traffic.

Carpet tiles

Interlocking squares that ship in cartons, install without adhesive, and replace panel by panel when damaged. Best for multi-city programs.

Vinyl and laminate planks

A hard floor look that photographs well for product demos. Heavier per square foot than carpet and slower to install.

Foam and turf

Comfort layers for staffing-heavy booths and outdoor event builds.

What to Look for in Booth Flooring

✓
Fire rating. Nearly every US venue requires CFR Title 16 Part 1633 or equivalent certified flooring. Ask for the certificate before you buy anywhere.
✓
Square footage math. Order to your booth dimensions plus a small overage for cutting. A 10x10 needs roughly 100 square feet, a 10x20 about 200.
✓
Weight and packing. Carpet ships rolled, tiles ship stacked. Both count toward your freight bill, and tiles usually win on multi-ship programs.
✓
Color under your graphics. Dark floors ground bright backwalls. Light floors brighten small spaces but show traffic wear sooner.

Ordering and Install Notes

The Iconic XL carpet is stocked and cut to order, and it qualifies with standard venue fire codes. For tile and plank systems, plan install labor at roughly one person hour per 100 square feet. Carpet ordered through your general service contractor is the most expensive path for the same material, so buying direct is the usual saving.

Trade Show Flooring FAQ

How much does trade show flooring cost?
Booth carpet typically runs $1.50 to $5 per square foot depending on grade. A 10x10 booth needs about 100 square feet, so carpeting it costs roughly $150 to $500.
Do I need flooring in my trade show booth?
Most venues leave bare concrete unless you order flooring, and bare concrete reads as unfinished. Carpet defines the space and is the cheapest visual upgrade per dollar in a booth.
Is trade show carpet required to be fire rated?
Yes. US convention centers require certified flame resistant flooring, and you may be asked for the certificate at install. The carpet sold here meets those codes.
Carpet or carpet tiles for a trade show?
Carpet for single shows and clean looks. Tiles for multi-city programs, since they ship in manageable cartons and you can replace damaged squares instead of the whole floor.
